My dad was super impressed that I was using sticky notes to mark a book I was reading. Little did he know that my sticky notes are reserved for snarky comments.
At any rate, this is my take on Fermi’s Paradox. I think the biggest counterargument would be this: we think we know that nothing can travel faster than light. And yet space is millions/billions/an infinite amount of light years large. Even if there was intelligent life out there capable of and interested in space travel, it may take them forever to find us. And even then, they may not be interested in the travel it would take before we even blipped on their radar. Heavens knows, we aren’t interested in that sort of travel.
