So all the GSIs and TAs* in Computer Science 10 (the class I lab assist for) have been super cool. We went rock climbing together, there was a paintball outing, I even have basically all their numbers.

So they’ve ruined the rest of college for me. Now I see grad students as normal human beings that I am allowed to befriend if I feel so inclined. But other grad students, I have been told, see us undergraduates as some form of pond scum/set of malformed infants. So I will probably freak some people out…

*GSI: grad student instructor. TA: teacher’s assistant. At UC Berkeley, it’s the exact same job, just one’s an undergrad and the other is a grad student. I see them as one unit.

This is why I love my computer science class.

I love print statements. So much so that I would buy a tshirt with the declaration.
